  1. Just K

Great shampoo. My husband has psoriasis on his leg and says this shampoo really helps. I can see the scalp patches have disappeared and skin is smooth. He leaves it on longer than instructions say, and is really pleased. Not much else has helped. A little goes a long way.

  2. SG

This shampoo works well for relieving itchiness and calming my scalp. The active ingredient is zinc pyrithione at 1%, which is what I look for in products like this.

It’s also moisturizing without being heavy, and seems to be safe for color-treated hair. Seems to be a solid shampoo option for people with the various conditions described in the product listing.

  3. JJ+3

I am very impressed with this shampoo, mainly because it did something I was not expecting! I actually got it as a dandruff shampoo for someone in our home, but I decided to use it myself when I put it in the shower. Wow! I lathered my hair with it, and left it in for about three minutes (per instructions) and rinsed it out. When I got out of the shower, my frizzy hair felt very soft and moisturized! I didn’t even need to use conditioner! The scent was pleasant and not strong. I am going to keep this for myself now, and may get more when this bottle runs out!

This shampoo uses 1% zinc pyrithione to tackle itching, flaking, and redness from psoriasis and dandruff. It hydrates deeply with hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, and coconut oil, keeping the scalp moist without heaviness. Safe for color-treated and chemically processed hair, it also includes rosemary, green tea, and gardenia extracts to soothe irritation. Application is simple—massage onto wet scalp, leave 3-5 minutes, then rinse well. It works reliably for scalp relief and hydration, no extras needed.

  5. TypsyGypsy

Excellent shampoo, I’ve used about four times so far (I don’t use everyday) I wear hair extensions and often get an itchy scalp because of this, especially this time of year with the weather being so hot, The shampoo has definitely helped with this.

Lathers up really well and has a nice thick consistency so a little goes a long way and you don’t have to use it everyday, maybe three times a week.
Shampoo also has a nice light very pleasant scent , highly recommend

  6. Terry

I have only used the Psoriasis Shampoo twice but WOW, I am already feeling relief from my itchy scalp. I have tried several expensive products but this is working much better so far. I like the pump application which makes for less waste. The shampoo is a bit on the thin side however it lathers up very nice with minimal product. The smell is a clean scent with no chemical smell like alot of other brands and it leaves your hair feeling soft and hydrated. The directions state to leave it on your scalp and hair for 2-3 minutes and I believe this is key to acquire the full effectiveness. I highly recommend this for those that are suffering from itchy scalp.

  7. Alexus

While I do wish that the bottle itself was bigger, it is very well filled, and the pump pops up easily and dispenses smoothly. I enjoyed the texture and thickness of the shampoo and how easily it goes on and spreads through your hair and across your scalp. I also love the scent, it’s a wonderful herbal yet fresh blend of rosemary and green tea that feels super luxurious and relaxing. I love all of the moisturizing ingredients in the shampoo that show someone really thought through the product and the benefits they hopped to achieve. The mix of Aloe, Coconut Oil, Squalene and Hyaluronic acid really help to condition your scalp and lock in lasting moisture. I also love just how quickly you feel a decrease in itching once applied to your scalp. The fragrance is long lasting and the itch and flake relief last for days no more visible dandruff or flakes.

  8. Meg

I haven’t yet found a silver bullet for the oily scalp buildup I’ve dealt with my whole life, but zinc pyrithione shampoos work pretty well to keep it in check, and this one stands up to the others I’ve used. While it’s billed as a “moisturizing formula,” it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, which I appreciate. (Depending on your hair texture or length, you might want to follow it up with a separate conditioner.)

The scent is pleasant and neutral, sort of vaguely medicinal/herbal. I really dislike overpowering scents, so I’m glad this one is very mild.

Note that the directions are slightly different between the bottle and the product page (in terms of how many minutes to leave it on and how many times a week to use it), but it’s shampoo, so you can’t really screw it up.

  9. Noah B

I am very happy with this psoriasis shampoo, it’s got a fairly pleasant smell and seemed to really go a long way. One-two pumps had my hair extremely foamy and saturated with the shampoo, and it was easy to tell that I had covered my scalp really well. The smell was like mint, tea, and some kind of herbs? it was definitely not a bad smell like some of the other brands I’ve tried. No psoriasis shampoo has “worked” for me, but they all help a little bit, and I’d say that this one is right in line with the others as “helping a little bit” – no miracle cure, of course. There is no burn with this shampoo since it’s Pyrithione Zinc based and not based on an acid, so that’s a relief.

Overall I’d definitely recommend this shampoo, it’s just as effective as some of the other store brands I’ve tried and has a more pleasant smell. It also leaves my hair much softer and feeling less damaged than many of its competitors!

  10. Mana Girl

If you have gotten psoriasis, you know how painful it can feel. I was getting it along my scalp hairline. I like this shampoo because it soothes the itchiness and redness. It also lathers well and is hydrating. Yes, it does have sodium laurel sulfate, but so do the leading zinc shampoo brands. I’ve read that scalp psoriasis needs to be treated with multiple products, so this is one of the products in my line. This is an excellent value for its effectiveness.

  11. Simeon X. Chalet

First and foremost, I love the pump. I know that’s weird, but sometimes there’s not enough products that comes through, but this pump was just very effective. I also like the fact that you can relock it, which is nice for travel.

The scent is very light, just soapy. I can’t really put my finger on what it smells like, but it’s not unpleasant. Definitely something, as a guy, that you appreciate. You don’t want to smell like you just walked out of bath& body works with every spray imaginable on you.

As far as the the shampoo itself, it was as advertised – It is extremely smooth and almost feels like conditioner. It was very soothing, and I could definitely tell there was a difference in inflamed areas.

It lathers extremely well. This is not one of those where you have to use too much of the bottle. A little goes a long way.

Definitely worth the money, a great value! I’ve used products from the dermatologist that don’t work as well as this.

  12. CM

Firstly I really like that this came in a pump bottle. It does have a distinctive smell but nothing too bad but I’d be aware of that if you don’t like strong smells. Works well as regular shampoo. I got it to try for dandruff and so far seems to be working nice. It lathers and cleans hair well, and I didn’t notice any itching or reactions after using.

  13. MK

I have been struggling with a flaky, itchy scalp for a while and have tried everything ranging from tea tree oil on my scalp to apple cider rinses with limited effect. This shampoo, however, seems to be working! It leaves my scalp feeling clean and not overly dry, and I’ve noticed a considerable decrease in itchiness after my first use, though I still have some, albeit reduced, flakiness on my scalp. Perhaps that will further diminish with continued use. It has a refreshing, mild scent and the lather quality is great as well, I don’t need to use a lot to scrub it over my scalp, which means this bottle is a decent value as I imagine it will last me quite a while. While it isn’t sulfate free, I appreciate that it does contain a number of natural ingredients like aloe vera, rosemary oil, coconut oil, etc.

  14. TAROTTI

As someone who’s struggled with a persistent itchy, flaky scalp and seborrheic dermatitis for years, I’ve tried countless shampoos with little success. That’s why I’m thrilled to share that I’ve finally found a product that works wonders – X20Hair Psoriasis Shampoo with Zinc Pyrithione 1%.

Effectiveness: The first thing that impressed me about this shampoo is how quickly it started to relieve my symptoms. After the very first use, I noticed a significant reduction in itching and scalp irritation. The 1% Zinc Pyrithione formula targets dandruff, fungal infections (like Malassezia), and psoriasis lesions effectively, preventing flaking and soothing the scalp. I’ve been using it consistently for about a month now, and I’m happy to report that my scalp feels significantly healthier and less inflamed.

Gentleness: I was initially concerned that a shampoo with such a strong active ingredient might be harsh on my hair or scalp. However, the moisturizing formula is surprisingly gentle and doesn’t cause any irritation. It’s also safe for color-treated hair, which is a big plus for me since I like to keep my hair dyed.

Fragrance & Lather: This shampoo has a refreshing, light scent that’s not overpowering – a nice bonus. It lathers well, so you don’t need to use a lot of product to cleanse your hair effectively.

Overall Experience: I love that this shampoo addresses multiple scalp issues in one, providing relief from seborrheic dermatitis, dandruff, and psoriasis, while keeping my hair soft and manageable. It’s become an essential part of my haircare routine, and I’m excited to continue using it to maintain my scalp’s health.

Final Thoughts: If you’re struggling with scalp issues like dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, or psoriasis, I highly recommend giving X20Hair Psoriasis Shampoo a try. It’s a game-changer! Just remember that results may take a few uses to appear, so stick with it for the best results.

Disclaimer: While my experience with this product has been overwhelmingly positive, individual results may vary. Always patch-test new products and consult a healthcare professional for persistent scalp issues.
